About Cars
Cars were invented in 1886 by Karl Benz. Before then, Anything car-like was powered by steam. Steam power was first utilized in a vehicle by Jean Cugnot in 1769. In 1886, Karl Benz invented a three-wheeled vehicle he called Motorwagen. Benz went on to be very successful, and merged with his rival, Daimler to become Daimler-Benz in 1926. Karl later died in 1929. This successful merger went on to become the current Mercedes-Benz. Since 1886, cars have become much more common and popular, and have gotten cheaper, and more expensive.
Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM
Currently the worlds most expensive car, at a base price of $1, 547 000 USD, the CLK-LM is what I consider the worlds biggest rip-off. (Also available in a roadster guise.)
